It showed me how easy it could be to extend a CMS using OO programming and MVC.

I've previously evaluated Drupal for our company website, but implementing modules for Drupal is like going back in time 15 years and start again C-style programming. Extending SilverStripe on the other hand is "similar" to Java programming, which I do every day.

I'm looking forward to migrate our company website to SilverStripe in the next months. Currently the missing support for nested URLs and the disallowed '.html' in URLs blocks me a little bit. Anyway we'll try the nestedurls branch...
