SilverStripe

Adds configurable workflow support to the CMS, with a GUI for creating custom workflow definitions.

The Advanced Workflow module adds the ability to define workflow definitions via a CMS interface, made up of actions with transitions stepping between them. These workflow definitions can then be applied to any item in the main CMS.

Out of the box the module comes with the ability to create simple publishing based workflows with email notification and multiple user group assignments, but it is easy to define custom and more complex workflow definitions, steps and transitions which allow you to create any type of workflow to suit your needs.

Features

• Workflow definitions can be created via the CMS.

• Multiple users and groups can be assigned to the workflow, and notified of steps needed to be taken.
• Comments can be entered when a workflow step is executed in order to allow communication between workflow users
• Workflow history for a page can be brought up directly from the page
• Currently running workflows can be viewed and reassigned by an administrator
• Log of all workflows (currently running and completed) available
