Newsletter - importing Link to this post

    Hi Guys,

When I import a csv file for a mail list, it shows the content correctly but when I click "confirm", I get this error:

    [Notice] Undefined index: Set
    POST /ss/admin/newsletter/UploadForm

    Line 236 in C:\wamp\www\ss\newsletter\code\RecipientImportField.php

Couldnt seem to find anything in the docs - a little help?

    Cheers

    Hi
I have developed a fix for this issue - so please test the attached file to replace the RecipientImportField.php file in Newsletter/code - this should hopefully get added to the main Newsletter Module SVN trunk soon
If any issues let me know

    Cheers
    Karl

Hi - a good first step is to do a CSV export out of the CMS to get the CSV format correct as this can be an issue on import.
Make sure you have Silverstripe core 2.3.3 installed
Also are you using Newsletter trunk from Silverstripe SVN?
Plus did you do a /dev/build after the update and /admin/?flush=! in CMS?

    Cheers

    Hi
    Go to http://www.silverstripe.org/newsletter-module/
There is a trunk version to try out and SVN link - you will need tortoisesvn.net to get svn version - once installed
add a local folder for the module - select svn checkout and enter svn url
Then Export your local svn version to use on your project
