problem image collection

when i want to use image collection (the latest, even trunk) run an dev/build?flush=1 and even db/build?flush=1. with the latest stable silverstripe 2.3.4 i get it into the cms. All integrated well.
make a new image collection page, put a photo into it, indexing on and show in menu on and save it.
when i try to open the page i get the text... Array ... in a blank screen and nothing shows up?what am i missing?
