Repeat dates not showing up

8 December 2009 at 7:59am
I've installed (yesterday) the most recent version of the event calendar. I am using the event calendar in a members only area of the site.
There is a repeating meeting on the last Monday of every month that I want to put on the calendar. I have set up the meeting and set the repeat to every month on the last monday. No dates show up on the published calendar.

Please replicate the issue on the demo site so I can test it

OK, I have added a test event on Dec. 28 and set a repeat on it for the last monday of every month. Couple of things: the event doesn't show up on the event calendar on the day it is scheduled for: http://eventcalendar.bluehousegroup.com/basic-calendar/20091228
But it does show up when I view it as a page: http://eventcalendar.bluehousegroup.com/testing/
So either I don't know what I'm doing in terms of administering the calendar (very likely) or there is some issue.
Cheers.

So can anyone give me an idea whether the repeat functionality is working? If it is then I would like to know what I'm doing wrong when entering the information - I can't seem to make it work.

The start and end dates on your event are equal, so there's no possibility that it will ever repeat.

Thanks for that. I had assumed that the repeat information would work off of a single date, but now see that you need the end date to calculate all of the related events.
One other thing I noticed tonight was that the date picker was not working on the admin side. I looked through the postings in the forum and saw in one that DataObject_Manager is required for the calendar. I had not installed that module, and so was missing the functionality. This also is not obvious as DataObject is not listed as a requirement on the install information provided for this module. Just a heads up for you.
Thanks again.
