Issues with text/html fields in Userforms

I am trying to construct a boring contact form but can get neither the text field type or the html field type to work....

* html does not work at all. I can enter the field and text for it but when published only the field text appears. I assume the HTML editor box should appear but there's nothing at all. In the CMS I'm slightly confused by the config screen. When I 'show options' the first option in "Field configuration" is just an empty text box. What's that for?

* I can create a multiline text box but I can't control the width. It doesn't matter what value I type in for "Length of Text Box" it just stays the same. I'm not sure how "Text Length" works. Can I make that unlimited in some way?

This is Userforms 0.2.0 with Silverstripe 2.3.4.

Any thoughts appreciated!
