Subsite Question - Can I setup admin for all sites on one domain only

Hi
Is it possible to setup Subsite Revision: #108517 (on 2.4) to ADMIN all subsites through one domain without giving access to that domains admin. For example:Admin rest on admindomain.com/admin
subsite a is subsiteA.comuser from subsiteA.com goes to admindomain.com/admin to log into admin and change their content, BUT it treats them like they loged into subsiteA.com/admin and they have no access to edit admindomain.com's stuff (or even see it for that matter).
I imagine it can be done by hardcoding some of the subsite files, but I am not sure where to start.
