guys the only issue I am having atm, is that when I click on edit photo I can't edit the details straight away but have to click the "next button", then click the" previous button" to be able to edit the details of the initial image I selected. Are you guys suffering this also???

Can you weigh in on this one please. I have now upgraded DOM and ImageGalery to the trunk head r529 and I am still getting the same problem. When you upload an image to the gallery the File record is created (As an ImageGalleryImage class) associated with the folder, however the ImageGalleryItem is not being created if you just close the upload window. The ImageGalleryItem is only created if you click the continue button and if your uploading multiple files, you click through all of them until you get the Finish button.
Hope this helps narrow things down a bit.

A little further information...
If you close the popup without pressing the Continue action button the method saveUploadifyForm is never called. Its this action method that creates the ImageGalleryItem objects. I am guessing what we need is the Close popup action to call this method if it hasn't already been called. Doesn't sound like a great solution but it would seem like a likely work around to the problem of users terminating the required workflow early.
