Mrfixer-

I'm also having trouble installing any module. I am running xampp on my mac. Everything else works fine. I edited the httpd file. I changed options to All. And the other line you mentioned was already uncommented. I saved the file and restarted xampp. No luck. The tables didn't build in my database and obviously nothing appeared in the admin area.

On a side note, when I installed SS I corrected a couple configuration errors but ignored one warning. The warning had something to do with quotations? I'm not sure if that is relevant to this problem or how to even pull up that original warning.

Any help would be great!

Thanks!

Hi,

I've just set up a Silverstripe on a web server and want to install the image gallery module. I've read the instructions and have found out that I need to install 2 other modules first. The modules I want to install are:

DataObjectManager-master-HEAD
modules-swfupload-r401
modules-image_gallery-r536

What do i need to change the files names to to ensure that dev/build will work? I've tried changing them to just DataObjectManager, modules-swfupload & modules-image_gallery but still nothing seems to have happened.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Regards,

Andy

dataobject_manager
swfupload
image_gallery

I believe. Confusing I know, but the module API is a way off yet. Until then you'll just have to tell the module author to ensure they include it in the instructions.

I've got a better idea.... why don't they just pack the module in a file correctly named in the first place.... they can have all the release info like version numbers in a txt file... oh well.... trial and error it is then.

Thanks very much for the help :-)
