Hi, using the events modules and would like to first change form $. I have searched the forums but all the posts are over 3 years old and suggest hacking the core. Is there an alternative approach recently released?

Also I would like to categorise the events. So on the homepage I display a calendar with all the events then once you click into an event it only displays there events for this category page.

Please can the search be updated/improved for the forum, its far too vague and doesn't search via string of words. It just returns a page of every page with the words entered.
