Event Calendar CMS Access

When I log in to the CMS using the default admin account, trying to access any calendar event gets this error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function FormName() on a non-object in example/sapphire/forms/DateField.php on line 208
When I log in using a content editors account I have set up, I can access the events without any problems. If I start creating accounts for many users are they going to have the same problems because they didn't create the events?
I'm using SS 2.4.5 and Event Calendar v0.2, everything else is running without any problems.
