Tracking Outbound Links and Downloads using Google Analytics

For those trying to figure out how to track outbound links and/or downloads using Google Analytics, here's an easy way to do both. Basically it adds Google Analytics "OnClick" events to all links starting with "http://" or "https://" for external links, and "assets/" for downloads.
