Translatable Uploadify

Hi
We're working on a site which needs to be translatable. We have a page type that has_many image which we want to be able to use uploadify for. I've applied translatable to file but uploadify doesn't seem to work (returns HTTP error) with translatable files has any one been able to get uploadify working with translatable files?
