- log into the CMS
- run a dev/buildWill try to:
- log
- upload /event_calendar (without the backticks)
- run a /dev/build- - -
May be of help, when i try to remove the /event_calendar folder, it gives me:

Tried:
- ftp /event_calandar (without the backticks)
- ran /dev/build
Nothing. It freezes the CMS.
Have to delete /event_calendar and run dev/ again to get the CMS back to life.

SOLUTIONS
Ive read USING BACKTICKS on SQL database. It suggests:
- using " instead of backticks
- porting the database from SQL to mySQL
Any drawback to either one?
Thanks!

Have you considered install MySQL? you can do that on a windows machine I am sure.
Last option is to contact Uncle directly - according to his blog he just went freelance today!
Other than that I am out of ideas - best of luck.

I asked the owner server along swapping to an Apache server.......
which he wont do.

WIll keep you updated.
QUESTION : Why are people using Microsoft IIs servers. Are they any better than Apache? I am not server expert.

HI to all, a little update. I had the DB converted from MSSQL to MYSQL to some success. I had to clean up the table ID a bit to get everything back together. Which worked.
Now i have eventcalendar working fine apart this.
I cant have LIVECALENDARWIDGET month jump navigator to show months names in French(shows funny signs instead of accented characters.
Odd is that all of the other EventCalendat related objets show in French with correct accented characters.
Any idea! UTF-8 enconding?

UPDATE
I copied the event_calendar folder from a site i know it works to the one i am actually working on. Same results!
So it may not be related to event_calendar module but more server / db or else?
