Advanced Workflow assign workflow defintion as default

For all pages in the cms, a two-step workflow must be run to finally publish a page.
If a new page is created in the backend, the workflow definition has to be choosen manually by its name from the dropdown menu in the workflow tab. Per default "inherit from parent" is selected.
Setting this for every new page is...well this is a little bit annoying...Is there a way to set a created workflow as the new default one?
