hidemailto issues

Hi, I'm having trouble getting this to work......I upgraded to ss 2.2.3 and am trying to get the hidemailto module working. I've got the hidemailto folder in the root, and have also put the gallery folder in there also (read in the forums that hidemailto uses a decorator class from gallery) but when I put in a manual link,
ie: mailto/info/povertybaywine.co.nz/inquiry
when I publish it, the link just goes to : http://povertybaywine.co.nz/mailto/info/povertybaywine.co.nz/inquiry which is a blank page.
Any ideas?

first idea -- is it in the allowed domains (check _config.php) in the module

The same thing also happens when I try to use hide mailto, did you figure out how to work it?

same issue here. Shouldn´t this module be declared officially dead?
