Gallery: Lightbox displaying off-centre

I've installed the gallery module, and all is working. However, clicking on an image expands the image to the far right of the page, rather than in the centre.
Is the layout of the lightbox affected by anything else on the page, and/or any particular CSS styles?
I've got two different websites under construction, both with the same problem.
