event calendar module not installing?

i just downloaded the latest event calendar module. using ss 2.3.3
after i upload the package and run the dev/build, the page goes blank.
what is up with that?

Turn on your PHP error reporting so you can get a readable error.

sorry, stupid me. did not rename the module folder
