Calling reCaptcha into model dialogue box

I'm having trouble calling the reCaptcha into model dialogue box (I'm using the jQuery colorbox plugin.) I render the form into a hidden div in my template that gets reveled by the colorbox. Unfortunately once I add a reCaptcha form when the colorbox is called the reCaptcha fills the entire screen. I'm assuming this has something to do with the way the colorbox re-renders the content.
Is there way to force the reCaptcha field to use the iFrame method?
