I have just downloaded the SIFR module as I want to test it out for background colour on headlines.

In the README doc that comes with download it says...

"
For use with SilverStripe
* Create a 'fonts' folder in your theme. Eg themes/blackcandy/fonts/
* Drop your sifr flash file in this file.
...
"
I did not see a SIFR flash file. Do I need to download this from somewhere else before I start this process??

You have to generate your font swf file using the sifr.fla file which you can download from http://wiki.novemberborn.net/sifr3/ or by using the http://www.sifrgenerator.com/ which works pretty well.

Sorry didn't see your 2nd post. Have a read of http://discuss.joyent.com/viewtopic.php?id=11805 for using it with a transparent bg. You might have to edit the code in sifr/code/Sifr.php.

Thanks for response.

Do you know what I mean about wrapping bgcolor around text? so text does have color behind it - but this bgcolor wraps with text. Is this possible? reason being with html you can not padd it out at end of line.

I know this is not specifically silverstripe but if not possible with SIFR I do not want to waste time trying to do it.

Thanks for help dude!
