Khaki Kraze theme IE6 issues

Hello everyone. I made the Khaki Kraze theme for the Google Highly Open Participation contest. I'm trying to finish up the theme for a 1.0 version, and all that's left is to fix it in IE6. I've tried to use AlphaImageLoader to fix the transparency issues, but it's more trouble than it's worth, so I just put in opaque backgrounds on the images. Now the header and footer are a bit messed up: screenshot. Here's the preview. I'd appreciate some help with finishing it up.
