I tried to use Lightbox2:

with SS generated pages and ran into problems. The thing just wouldn't work. HTML, linked script and css files all seemed correct. The strange thing was, if I placed a file with exactly the same HTML code outside the cms system (copied from the source view of a SS generated page), it would work! On a Mac, the generated page would give javascript errors both in Safari and Firefox; but with IE6 on XP there would be no problem, both the static and generated page worked! (Normally it is the other way around ;)

A very strange situation indeed.

With the help of one of the forum members, DesignCity (thanks again), the solution was found: just place ContentNegotiator::disable() in the config file. It seems that the ContentNegotiator tries to do strange things with Safari...

Perhaps other people ran into this as well, so this might help you a little bit more in the right direction. If you have any questions, let me know.

Thanks,
- Ray.
