Re-installation problems with v2.2.0

I just deleted my old installation and uploaded the new version of SS.
When running the new installation, it moves very rapidly (2-3 seconds) to home/successfullyinstalled?flush=1
And after that I only get a blank browser, after refreshing and ?flush=1 I finally get a '500 internal error' message.
This is a linux installation of SS 2.2.0
Can anyone give me some hints as to where to start digging for problems??
