Forum - Register throwing a 'GetForumFields' error

I just installed the forums module and it seems to fail when I attempt to register a user. I haven't made any modifications to the plugin; it's the out-of-the-box code.
In dev mode, the error thrown is:FATAL ERROR: Object::__call() Method 'getForumFields' not found in class 'Member'
At line 190 in /home/design27/public_html/sapphire/core/Object.phpgetForumFields is a function set in ForumRole.php, but that's all I know about it. Any ideas on what mighht be fouling this up?
