I'm trying to get some streaming flash video to work in this enviroment, but am facing problems.

I am unable to upload flv files. Is there a way to extend the list of permitted filetypes for upload?

Hello Snarf

I have uploaded a "flv" file without any problem.
Do you get an error message or what happens exactly?

Perhaps you have a problem with uploading files and not specific with the flv-file.
Please have a look to the "upload" posts.

Hmm .. .

It seems to upload fine, but when it's done, it says "There was nothing to upload"?

Hi Snarf

Never seen this error message you mentioned.

I had the phenomenon that the upload bar finished loading but neither a "green" success message was shown nor a file was uploaded.

I've found out that I can upload on a pc w/ firefox. Previously I was on Mac w/ safari and Firefox.

So I guess it's some platform problem?
