    Problems with installation Link to this post

    Hello from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
    I have just tried to install silverstripe, and I´m getting the following error:

    Building database...
    Warning: file_get_contents(http://test.3d-arg.com/db/build?from_installer=1&flush=1) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! in /www/silver/install.php on line 246

    Loading initial content...

    I have installed SilverStripe CMS successfully!

    --
    database user is root, so it shouldn´t be a problem when creating database.
    all files belog to www-data... so that shouldn´t be a problem either.

    Any suggestions?

    Chances are, the web-server was unable to visit test.3d-arg.com itself for some reason.

    To finish the install:
    * Visit http://test.3d-arg.com/db/build?flush=1
    * Then visit http://test.3d-arg.com/db/populate

    That should fix everything.

    The latest installer isn't affected by this sort of issue. We put a fair bit it of work into making it more reliable.
