a theme tweaking / developing program idea

24 January 2008 at 5:26am Last edited: 24 January 2008 5:27am
a few days ago an idea about creating such a program came to my mind and Sigurd told me to share it here
the program will be modifying the site xhtml/css structure and the tags ids and classes to fit the silverstripe guidelines, it will also add appropriate indentation. I'm also thinking about adding an optional heuristic module that could split the design in the silverstripe theme files like page.ss, navigation.ss etc basing on the tags IDs and classes =]
it would probably simplify the process of themes creation.
The first release will be for Windows, the next ones will be probably supporting other OS's to.
Feel free to post any suggestions here =]
PS the uploaded file is just testing a reported upload problem ;)

Hmm, as long as it's not default and we will still be able to create our own themes/templates/classes stuff without the program messing with it, fine by me, or maybe I'm reading it all wrong and you mean a program external of SS and free to use, that would be nice of course!
I'm really enjoying the freedom we have now.

Of course I meant an external program, which you could use to modify a theme that is not "silverstriped" yet ;)
