    I'm using SS 2.2.1 with

    i18n::enable();

    and

    i18n::set_locale('de_DE');

    in my _config.php.

    How can I get

    $Date.Format(j. F Y)

    in my template to output the German month name instead of the default English one? I would prefer to not touch date.php in the SS core.
