    I get this going to Mysite.com/admin/assets

    ERROR:
    Error

    The website server has not been able to respond to your request.

    i got the same problem now.
    how did you fix it ???

    add Director::set_environment_type("dev"); to your _config.php file then reload the assets. That should give you a error with more information about your problem
