I have just been trying to upload my perfectly working site onto my web space. But i was getting outputing php code at the top of each page in the admin, site and db/build. after a day i have finally worked out what it is.

the naughty files were in the blog modual and ecommerce modual and it was down to the php short tags not being enabled on the server. these files start with <% instead of <%PHP after changing them it all work well. i also added this to my php.ini:

short_open_tag = On

to my sites php.ini file on the server.

Hope this helps anybody with the same problem.
