hello,

I´m looking for a good CMS. The problem is that I don´t know much about PHP. I´m good at XHTML /CSS. I just do buiesness sites. Is silverstripe something I can use anyway or must I have good knowledge of PHP?

Thanx.

Welcome to the forums!

You dont need a huge knowledge of PHP to run SilverStripe but it helps a lot when you need extra functionality for your site. Our tutorials go over the basics of developing a SilverStripe site though so think of it as a good time to pick up PHP!.

All the templates and css are just the same with any site and compared to Wordpress, SilverStripe has a much cleaner templating engine! No embedding php in your xhtml files!
