A fix to IE text selection bug...

Hi,
I've noticed that when I use floating on my page, I can't select the text with IE (well, it is possible... but hard)
I've found the cause to this IE Bug, and it's the <base> element.And also I've found that when you use <base href="http://blabla:3000"/> you have the bug, and when you use <base href="http://blabla:3000"></base> it's OK!
How can I make SS use the "Good for IE" way?
or, can you please fix it?there's someone who explained the problem and the solution here
