Tried to install SS 2.01 on my Intel Mac's localhost running Apache. Rec'd fatal memory error. Searched the threads and there were a lot of references to the need to set the memory limit to 32M in php.ini. I read that this was fixed in 2.0, but I got the error anyway. Traced the code to line 302 which sits inside a function calling the is_writeable. I modified the permissions and the install fired up just fine.

Getting a fatal memory message while the real problem is the permissions has been causing a bit of confusion on the message boards.
