Hello, my name is Lee and this is my first post. I've installed SilverStrip and it looks very impressive, defiantly something my customers could easily use. I come from a TextPattern and ExpressionEngine background where custom fields are supported. I was wondering how these are implemented in SilverStripe. For example say I wanted to a property website, how would I go about having separate searchable fields per property for price, location, number of rooms etc.?

Best wishes
Lee

Hi Lee,

I suggest you read the first and second - more useful tutorials - http://doc.silverstripe.com/doku.php?id=tutorials . The second one covers adding fields to the CMS/ Site , They dont cover what you are looking for exactly but do show the basic ideas behind adding fields.
