Missing Menu after Install

Hi,
I've tried a number of times to install Silverstripe but each time after the install appears to work correctly I have no menu. I can login to the admin area and play with pages and even view different pages via the "draft" and "published" tabs but on none of these is there ever a menu.
In the html on the default site is:
<div id="Header">
<h1> </h1>
</div>I'm guessing that's where the menu normally is. Any ideas on this one?

The menu is initially removed as the environment is set up for beginning the first tutorial (http://doc.silverstripe.com/doku.php?id=tutorial:1-building-a-basic-site). This'll probably change in future releases.

If you cant follow that tutorial and just want it to work try downloading our new theme BlackCandy http://www.silverstripe.com/blackcandy/. That should be all setup with the menus etc.

Great thanks for that, sorry I guess I should've tried the tutorial first thing. I figured something was wrong as all the screenshots I saw of installs showed the menu included.
