Converting to SilverStripe using existing user db Link to this post

Is it possible to use existing user db.

I have over 4000 users in my Vbulletin db and would like to keep the Vb database and Vbulletin forum.

Integrating SilverStripe with Vbulletin and Photopost.

Have a look at the auth_external mod. This should allow you to add a connection to your existing user database (although this will require you to create a new driver).
