really frustrated with Disqus / GetSatisfaction

I must be doing something wrong because I can't seem to get Disqus or GetSatisfication's code snippets to work properly in my site's .ss templates. I've pasted the code before the </body> tag, I've flushed the cache, and still nothing appears.
jQuery, Mint Stat tracking, and another .js script I use for an image slideshow work just fine. I've even removed all 3 to make sure they weren't interfering, and it still didn't work.
What's going on?!

Try to use the firefox error console to screen what is the error and post it here. Also make sure that the new changes you did to the code appears when you retrieve the website.
