I'm thinking this shouldn't be too terribly difficult, but I'm not great with PHP so I thought I'd ask here and see if anyone has done this before I mess with GalleryPage.php and break my client's site
My client is a home remodeler and I've set him up using the excellent Gallery module so he can display pictures that show the progression of his work on different jobs. However, it's important that the pictures are displayed in the order that he shot them. Currently, Gallery has "Sort by Title", "Sort by Upload date ascending" and "Sort by Upload date descending", none of which really meet his needs. I'd really like to have a PHP function read the EXIF data from his JPEGs and sort his galleries by date taken. PHP: EXIF is installed on my server. A cursory Google search shows that information on reading EXIF data in PHP is readily available. Anyone do this already or think they could implement it quickly?
Thanks in advance for any help!
