    Hi there,

    When I go to install the CMS I get the below message.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /data/members/paid/a/l/alchimie-prades.fr/htdocs/www/install.php on line 518

    Is there anything I can do to fix this?

    What version of PHP does your host have? SilverStripe will only work on PHP 5, it doesn't work on 4.

    I think I solved this issue with the help of a previous forum post - I put the below code into my htaccess file, and it was all good.

    AddType x-mapp-php5 .php
    AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .php
