Well, it's been 2 months in my spare time, but my first SS site is live. Still a bit to tidy up as the client comes up with ideas and tweaks, plus the client is still sorting out a payment gateway, but I think it's in a good enough state to share with this great crowd:

http://www.vivaexpeditions.com/

The main customization that took the bulk of the dev time was the Tour and Options management system, which is a custom page type for Tour, TourOption (Many-Many), TourDate (One-Many). There are a fair few custom content fields for adding and editing Tours and prices in 5 currencies.

Example: http://www.vivaexpeditions.com/wild-patagonia-santiago-to-ushuaia/

All up, a fantaistic intro to what's possible with SS and Sapphire. I have just quoted another, more simpler project, which I have pushed SS for. After Viva, I should fly through that one.

Any critique welcome. Especially the design. I'm a PHP programmer, and this is my first shot at a design from scratch.

Thanks to everyone who lended a hand on these forums. Willr especially. I signed up here at the start of this project, so every answer given has gone into this site.

Happy Days
Aaron
