    Been having some issues with a fresh install of 2.2.2 on a local Ubuntu Hardy development box.

    The install process goes fine without errors and the admin interface works fine as well, however post-install the root directory of the site causes Apache 404 errors looking for the install files which have been deleted.

    I suspect it's some configuration issue related to the virtualhost or something but can't quite get it working.

    Any ideas?
