Hi - is there a support package available for those of us trying to use SS in a commercial setting? Either some kind of email support or ticketing? I have got several questions re customising SS and the forums seem to be very sporadically answered and it seems a lot of what I am searching for - others have also asked and the threads have remained unanswered. Kinda getting nervous here as I have invested time in SS and am using it to complete a project which has a deadline next week and I cannot find the answers I need in order to complete the tasks at hand.

I would be interested if there is paid for support available?

Cheers

You can hire commercial support for $1200 a day see - http://www.silverstripe.com/support/ . Developers try and answer the forum as they can but how fast they respond is depending on how busy people are! But also you could try the IRC channel at 0830 NZ time which is the assigned time for the core devs to be online. Normally 1 or 2 core members and quite a few awesome community members lurk there so you can try that.

Thanks for answering Willr, so that's around 580 Euros per day then, ouch, still if it needs to be done then at least the service is available so thanks for the heads up. Re the IRC Channel - not familiar with using it but could give it a go - just got to figure out the times as I'm on the other side of the World.

Ta!

Maybe I'll try posting a series of threads then relating to my questions to see if anyone can provide some pointers or answers to the brick walls I'm coming up against.
