newbie have 2 questions

Hi,
I have tested silverstrip cms on my local computer and I must say this cms is awesome, thanks for this great cms!
I have 2 questions:
1 - I have on my server mysql 4.0 and I have not root access, update to 4.1 is not possible, is there any solution I install silverstripe with mysql 4.0?
2 - your site is very very slowly, is this problem coming from silverstripe cms or have you problem with your server?

Thanks for the kind words.
About your questions:
1) Mysql 4.1 is required as mentioned here
http://doc.silverstripe.com/doku.php?id=server-requirements
2) I don't know why our site (I assume you mean silverstripe.com) is slow. We aren't aware of any slowdowns on the server. In general, our site runs quite fast, so I would suspect something in between our server in New Zealand and your location. Any other clues you can provide would be helpful, such as the exact URL that seems slow, your geographic location, your browser and version, etc.
