Hello,

I am considering modx as a development platform for my sites.

I would like to know from you guys if you think modx is the right choice for me given the following:

+ I would like to have a platform installed on my server that pushes the tags or dynamic content to the clients web pages stored on his server. The content is also stored on his server in his folders. The db data should be on my server with the modx installation.

+ The idea is to use modx to manage the content with one installation for several client web sites. The sites can be either html or flash (in which case I push an xml file to the server).

+ I also want to be able to quickly make a backend for the client to manage his content (what he does is he come to my site and logins in, whereby he finds himself in his backend to deal with his content).

I'm looking at a few options including modx and typo3. The reason I want this setup is because I am constantly building the same apps over and over, newsletter, news manager, guest book, image gallery, etc. I'm hoping to centralize the development and only push the tags used for the dynamic content to the client sites.

Thanks and looking forward to come comments.

Jeff
