Hi all,
I'm trying to make a website for our uni department. Apart from other stuff, there is the news section with articles from individual members. I've created each member a log-in account and have grouped them in the "department" group.
I want the dept members to be able to extend the "news" section of the web (created according to Tutorial 2) - they should be able to access it in the SiteTree and add new articles.
However, I don't want them to be able to delete the article (or the whole News section), and what's more, I don't want them to have the access to the "article holder" so that they cannot edit the "news" article holder itself. I don't care if they can edit anyone else's article, but if I can fix also this, it would be fabulous.
Is this possible? Would anyone be so kind and tell me what rights I should assign to the group and what code I shoud add and where exactly?
I have searched this forum, but have found only small pieces.. and the documentation section doesn't say much I am afraid.. :(
Thanks
Fanda
