please use the project pages off http://doc.silverstripe.com/doku.php?id=google-summer-of-code

while we wait for hayden set up trac.

i.e.
- to list the week by week things you want students to do
- to list the bugs/problems/things to fix

When trac is ready you can make a trac ticket for each story card / bug / issue etc, and then talk inside the (trac's) wiki page to show progress, e.g.

"Hi have added features a, b and c (in contribution r1234) and next week I will concrentate on features d, e, and f by thursday next week".

Can't we use something like Acunote or Basecamp for project ideas, messages and tasklists ? While using Trac for milestones, Changesets and Bug Tickets ?

Hi laktek, what do you think the advantage of using Acunote or Basecamp is over the wiki?

Most probably the simpler interface to keep things organized :)

Easy manageable tasklists, time-tracking, notifications when tasks get late, and ability to have discussion threads, etc...

I know some of these things are achiveable through Trac and wiki. Just my personal preference :)
