RECAPTCHA Module: Has anyone here implemented recaptcha?

10 September 2008 at 1:41am
Hi ... I posted a link in the Support Tickets asking about captcha and was sent the following link ...
http://doc.silverstripe.com/doku.php?id=modules:recaptcha
Yet I can't seem to find the actual 'Download' for this SilverStripe Module. Am I missing something here? Has anyone been able to implement recaptcha?
Does it take a SS download module?
Any help would be appreciated.

Is this installed locally or on a server?
You need to download it via an SVN client. If you are using a real server with Linux, most have it built in and you can grab it like so from the command line, aka SSH:
svn co http://svn.silverstripe.com/open/modules/recaptcha/trunk/ recaptcha
That downloads a copy of it to your server in whatever directory you're in.

I just filled in a very long description of what I did and posting crashed - I'll get back to this later - thank you for your help - doesn't work.
Added the directories and files, got the keys
The readme file needs more instruction
Thank you,

Hi I agree the instructions are really short and not helpful.
Iv'e tried everything and it still won't work in my custom form.
Would appreciate a solid example of the files involved and how to implement. Thanks for the help in advance
