Problems with extended classes in the trunk version

Hello everybody,
I'm trying to call the "run"-function of a Controller which is actually supposed to have this function in it's extended class but I receive the error message that the run function doesn't exist. Is this kind of a bug or am I doing something wrong here? The run function is definitely given. It would be nice if someone could check this out so I can be sure this problem is not just on my side.
