New install error on lin 518 however it looks empty on php editor

Any ideas?
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/mariav/public_html/silverstripe-v2.2.2/install.php on line 518

This is because you're using PHP4. SilverStripe requires PHP5.
