Did you changed the new MySQL Database information in your "_config.php"? If you moved Silverstripe in a new base you need to change it in the .htaccess, too.

Re: Moving Silverstripe Link to this post

I would like to get some information on moving a site as well. I have 2 additional questions:

    1) My site unfortunately has a dynamic IP address - so occasionally my provider changes it and I have to update my DNS information. But while I've been building the site, it looks like it is putting the IP address into the URLs. Is there a simple way to change those if the site's IP address changes?

    2) I have been building the site in a directory under /var/www/html/testSite. Once it is complete, I would like to move it up to the top level. What do I need to do to make that happen? ie. the silversite files would all be under /var/www/html.

    Thanks very much,

    nbc
